Caught.......Flu and Technology
Flu is killing me.
I have a headache. I had to go to my simulation class at 2:00 pm, but it turned to be at 2:30 pm.
It was a typical lecture but here's the nicest part. At the end of class we had to get the slides from the doctor's laptop and I thought that I'll see people getting out diskettes from their bags to copy the files but no no no. Floppy Disks are history.
Flash memory drives showed everywhere. Thumb drives of every color and shape. I even saw "pink-color-flash-memory" with one of the girls. We must've had a terabyte of disk space in that room hidden in bags and pockets. Of course we had to stand in a "Queue" :-) to copy the files but no no no no no.
Laptops started showing up with students at the back seats. A flash memory party was going on there.
I was astonished by the number of students with thumb drives and laptops.
Anyway, I got my "Flash Drive/Mp3 player" out my bag to get in the party mood.
My flash drive has a very unique shape. It is a small black box with small Blue LCD with a long separated USB data cable. My mp3 got the title of "King of the Prom" for sure.
The proffessor was really pissed off of the technology because he had to wait until students let his laptop loose.
Now I am sure that a PDA is not too geeky to be used in class, I must get myself a Copmaq(HP) iPAQ loaded with bluetooth,Wi-Fi,GSM/GPRS,GPS and a camera.
